Fort Collins, CO (August 1, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a serious motorcycle crash on Thursday afternoon, July 30, at College Avenue and Harvard Street in Fort Collins. A rider sustained serious injuries following a collision with an SUV.
According to the police, the crash involved a 2016 Toyota RAV4 and a 1999 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The SUV was traveling southbound on College Avenue and began a left turn toward eastbound Harvard Street when the motorcycle, traveling northbound on College Avenue, collided with it in the intersection. The motorcycle rider, an adult man, was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Northbound College Avenue was closed between Swallow Road and Harvard Street for about five hours while the scene was reviewed.
