Jefferson City, MO (August 1, 2026) – Two drivers were injured and treated after a crash at West Business 50 and Apache Trail on Thursday, July 30, at 5:35 p.m.
According to preliminary information, the 16-year-old driver of a Dodge Challenger was attempting to make a left turn and failed to yield to a westbound Hyundai Santa Fe. The two vehicles collided, causing total damage to both vehicles. The teenage driver suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.
The 83-year-old Santa Fe driver suffered moderate injuries and was taken by Cole County EMS to Capital Region Medical Center. The incident is actively being investigated.
