Traffic Safety During Road Events
Traffic control during races or marathons is a critical safety measure for participants and spectators. Officers on motorcycles are especially exposed because they are highly visible yet have limited protection compared with those in cars.
Collisions can occur if drivers do not follow temporary traffic controls, fail to slow down, or misjudge the presence of officers in the roadway. Proper signage, barriers, and public awareness are essential to reduce these risks. Emergency response teams are trained to provide rapid care when crashes involve law enforcement personnel or other first responders at events.
