Dales, CA (July 5, 2026) – Multiple people died, and others were injured following a head-on collision along State Route 36 east of Dales on Friday afternoon, July 3.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle wreck happened at about 3:15 p.m. when a Chevrolet van and a Ram pickup truck struck each other on SR-36E. Several people lost their lives, while additional occupants were hurt and received assistance after the roadway crash.
