Murrieta, CA (January 15, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision occurred early Wednesday afternoon on I-215 South just north of Scott Rd, resulting in injuries and significant property damage, according to California Highway Patrol reports.
The crash was reported around 12:35 p.m. and involved a gray van and a second unidentified vehicle. One of the vehicles struck and damaged approximately 50 feet of guardrail, and debris was scattered across the lanes. Emergency crews arrived on scene shortly afterward, with fire department personnel blocking the #3 lane to assist with injured parties and manage the crash scene.
Multiple vehicles were located along the right-hand shoulder and in the center divider, and tow services were dispatched to handle the recovery. The extent of the injuries sustained has not been officially released, but CHP confirmed medical aid was en route.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
