Ramapo, NY (August 4, 2026) – A Toyota Sienna struck a tree on the southbound Palisades Interstate Parkway near Exit 11 in Ramapo on Monday afternoon. The wreck happened around 1:10 p.m. on August 3.
Nine people were inside the vehicle when the Toyota Sienna left the roadway, according to the initial report. All nine people were injured, including seven children.
Eight people were taken to Westchester Medical Center, while one person was taken to Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Drivers were advised to avoid the southbound lanes near Exit 11 as lane closures and delays continued.
