Hanover, VA (August 4, 2026) – Two children were evaluated after a series of multi-vehicle crashes on Interstate 295 North near mile marker 41 in Hanover on Sunday, August 2.
According to initial reports, emergency units responded to a two-vehicle crash with heavy damage on I-295 North at mile marker 41. Two children were evaluated at the scene. Shortly afterward, a separate three-vehicle collision occurred at the same location, creating additional traffic delays along the interstate.
Officials have not released the identities of those involved or confirmed whether anyone was taken to a hospital. The circumstances surrounding both crashes remain under investigation.
