Nokomis, FL (January 31, 2026) – A vehicle collision at the intersection of Laurel Rd W and N Tamiami Trl on January 30 led to injuries and prompted an emergency response from Sarasota County units.
Emergency services from Station 23 arrived shortly after 4 p.m. to assist at the scene, where the crash had caused damage and left at least one individual hurt. Paramedics were seen attending to the injured on-site, offering treatment for trauma sustained in the wreck.
While the total number of victims has not been released, those with visible injuries were assessed and may have been transported to nearby medical centers for further care.
The crash took place on January 30 and caused traffic to slow near the busy Nokomis intersection. Officials cordoned off the area to ensure safety and conduct an initial investigation into the collision’s cause.
