Habersham County, GA (August 27, 2026) – One person suffered critical injuries on Tuesday, August 25, in a crash involving a pickup truck and a gasoline-powered scooter in Habersham County.
The crash happened around noon on North 441 Historic Highway in front of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Authorities said the collision appeared to have been a head-on crash.
The critically injured person was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville for treatment of life-threatening injuries. No additional information about the circumstances of the crash or the identities of those involved was immediately available.
