Tolleson, AZ (July 15, 2026) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle early on Tuesday, July 14, near the intersection of 107th Avenue and Buckeye Road in Tolleson.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, the crash was reported around 2:30 a.m. after the driver called 911 to report the incident. Deputies arrived to find the pedestrian unresponsive in the roadway. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the driver remained at the location and is cooperating with the investigation. Buckeye Road was closed in both directions during the morning commute before reopening shortly before 9 a.m. The identity of the pedestrian has not yet been released.
