Tucson, AZ (July 15, 2026) – Two people were injured, including one with life-threatening injuries, in a multi-vehicle crash on Monday, July 13, on Interstate 10 westbound near East 22nd Street in Tucson.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision occurred at about 11:30 a.m. and involved a commercial vehicle. Images from the Arizona Department of Transportation showed debris scattered across the roadway and a gravel truck with significant damage to the driver’s side.
One person was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, while another sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening. The westbound lanes of Interstate 10 remained closed for about three hours before reopening around 2:30 p.m. Additional details about those involved have not yet been released.
