Cambridge Township, MN (July 31, 2026) – One person died, and another was hurt after a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday morning on Highway 95 near Vickers Street in Isanti County. The fatal accident happened around 11:30 a.m. on July 29.
Investigators said a 2019 Ram Promaster was traveling east on Highway 95 and preparing to turn north onto Vickers Street when it was struck from behind by a Ford Explorer. The Explorer driver, identified as 46-year-old Joseph Daniel Decheine of Cambridge, died after the collision.
The Promaster driver, 63-year-old Jeffrey Lorryn Anderson of Stanchfield, was taken to Cambridge Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation as investigators continue reviewing the circumstances.
