Madison County, IL (August 20, 2026) – One driver was killed on Thursday morning, August 20, in a two-vehicle crash on northbound Illinois 255 at New Poag Road. The collision was reported at approximately 5:30 a.m.
The initial report confirmed that two vehicles were involved and that one of the drivers died. No additional information was released about the other driver or whether anyone else was hurt.
