Littlerock, CA (June 30, 2026) – A fatal two-vehicle collision was reported on Sunday, June 28, at the intersection of Pearblossom Highway and 80th Street E in Littlerock.
Initial reports indicated a black Honda Accord and a black Ford Mustang collided, blocking traffic lanes. Callers told dispatchers that a woman was unconscious and a man was lying on the ground following the wreck. Additional reports warned of several near-miss secondary collisions as approaching traffic encountered the blocked roadway.
Emergency units arrived and initially requested two ambulances. A later update canceled the second ambulance after one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials also closed Pearblossom Highway between 80th Street E and 82nd Street E while crews worked on the roadway.
The identity of the person who lost their life has not been released, and the extent of the surviving person’s injuries was not immediately disclosed.
Investigators continue working to determine what led to the crash.
