Dallas, TX (July 14, 2026) – One person was hurt after two semi-trucks collided on Monday morning on the westbound US-175 (CF Hawn Fwy) near Elam Road in Dallas.
The collision was detected shortly before 10 a.m. on the westbound side of the freeway. The impact force punctured the saddle tank on one of the trucks, causing a diesel fuel leak that required a hazardous materials team to contain and manage the spill.
One person was taken to a hospital in stable condition. All westbound lanes of US-175 were closed while cleanup crews removed the damaged vehicles and addressed the fuel leak, with traffic diverted to the nearest exit.
The identities of those involved have not been released. Investigators are continuing to determine the cause of the collision. We are thinking of the injured person and wish them a full and speedy recovery.
