Charlotte, NC (September 9, 2026) – One person was hurt in a crash involving a school bus on Tuesday morning in South Charlotte.
The collision happened before 9 a.m. at South Tryon Street and Yorkdale Drive. A Sedgefield Montessori school bus was involved, with eight students aboard at the time.
None of the students was injured, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. MEDIC reported that one person was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
