Amherst, NY (June 27, 2026) – At least one person was hurt in a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Flint Road and Maple Road near the University at Buffalo on Friday afternoon, June 26. The accident was reported at about 12:30 p.m.
Initial reports indicated that three vehicles were involved in the roadway collision. Emergency units worked to free one occupant who was trapped inside a vehicle, and a second ambulance was requested to assist at the scene.
The extent of the person’s injuries and the identities of those involved were not immediately released. Traffic was affected as crews worked at the intersection.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
