Rochester, NY (June 27, 2026) – Two 21-year-old men died following an overnight three-vehicle collision on the Inner Loop near Joseph Avenue in Rochester. The roadway incident occurred around 1:25 a.m. Friday.
Police said an SUV was traveling into oncoming traffic when it struck a Ford head-on. The Ford then moved into the path of a Jeep, resulting in a second collision between the vehicles.
The driver of the Ford and his passenger died at the site. The SUV driver, a 39-year-old woman, was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in critical condition. The Jeep driver was hospitalized with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
No names were released for the people involved. The cause of the collision is still being investigated.
