North Bellport, NY (June 27, 2026) – A pedestrian lost his life after being struck by a vehicle on Thursday night, June 25, on Station Road, south of Martha Avenue, in North Bellport. The accident was reported at approximately 10:35 p.m.
Police said the man was taken to NYU Langone Hospital–Suffolk in Patchogue, where he later died. Investigators believe the victim was a Hispanic man about 30 years old, although his identity has not yet been confirmed.
No additional information about the vehicle involved or the driver was immediately released. The victim’s name will be released after family notification is complete.
