Palm Springs, CA (August 4, 2026) – One person was injured in a possible vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash at the intersection of Monterey Avenue and Ramon Road in Palm Springs on Sunday, August 2.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported at approximately 1:34 a.m. Initial dispatch information indicated a possible vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash, with debris scattered across the roadway. Responding units initially were unable to locate the vehicle involved. Shortly afterward, authorities received information that an injured person involved in the crash had arrived at the Eisenhower Emergency Room for treatment. Officials later searched for the vehicle from Monterey Avenue toward Thousand Palms.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation, and authorities have not released the identity of the injured person or additional details about the vehicle involved.
