Authorities said the crash involved two vehicles and occurred along the highway during the morning hours. A white pickup truck was found overturned on its side in a grassy area off the roadway after the collision.

What Investigators Review in Highway Rollover Crashes
Rollover crashes on highways often involve a review of vehicle speed, impact angle, and roadway conditions. Investigators typically examine how the initial collision occurred and what caused a vehicle to overturn after impact.
When trailers or work vehicles are involved, officials may also review stopping distances and traffic flow in the area. Rear-end collisions at highway speeds can create enough force to push vehicles off the roadway or into nearby objects.
Investigators commonly analyze tire marks, vehicle damage, and final resting positions to reconstruct the sequence of events. Damage to roadside infrastructure, such as gas meters or barriers, may also become part of the review process.
