Mansfield, MO (August 13, 2026) – An 18-year-old woman was injured on Tuesday morning, August 11, in a two-vehicle collision about three miles west of Mansfield in Wright County. The crash occurred at approximately 5:50 a.m.
According to the report, a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling west when a 2010 Volvo sport utility vehicle entered the roadway from a crossover and continued west. The Chevrolet then struck the rear of the Volvo while attempting to pass an uninvolved vehicle.
The Chevrolet driver suffered moderate injuries and was taken for medical treatment. A 20-year-old occupant of the Volvo was not hurt and left with a private party. The Chevrolet was totaled, while the Volvo had moderate damage. Authorities continue reviewing the crash.
