Sacramento, CA (August 13, 2026) – Two vehicles were involved in a collision on Tuesday evening on eastbound US 50 near Watt Ave, according to a California Highway Patrol CAD record. A black Mazda CX-5 and a white sedan were among the vehicles listed.
The vehicles were in the No. 2 lane near the Watt Ave exit. The Mazda was later reported in the general-purpose lanes and on the right shoulder, while the white sedan had deployed airbags.
The CAD classification was later changed to a minor-injury traffic collision. Emergency units were requested, and a tow was arranged for at least one vehicle. No names or ages were provided in the initial report. The investigation into the circumstances remains ongoing.
