Vigo County, IN (June 15, 2026) – One person lost their life in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday, June 11, at 2:15 p.m. near the intersection of IN-246 and South All Street in southeastern Vigo County.
According to the official investigation, the cargo van was traveling eastbound on IN-246 when the SUV failed to yield the right of way. The SUV then collided with the van. The driver of the SUV suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the cargo van sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved, since the investigation is still ongoing.
