Henry County, AL (August 18, 2026) – One person was injured on Sunday morning, August 16, in a two-vehicle collision at Highway 431 and Henry County Road 45. The crash was reported at approximately 10:38 a.m.
Initial information described the injuries as critical, prompting an air medical response. The patient’s condition was later downgraded to moderate, and the patient was able to exit the vehicle without extrication.
Heavy damage was reported to both vehicles. Southbound lanes of Highway 431 were closed while responders worked at the scene.
An air medical helicopter arrived after the initial call.
