Rockland County, NY (June 14, 2026) – One person died, and two others were hurt following an overnight collision on the northbound New York State Thruway near the New York-New Jersey border.
According to reports, the wreck happened around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 14, between Exits 15 and 15A on Interstate 287 in Rockland County. An older-model Honda Odyssey and a Mini Cooper were involved.
Emergency units arrived at the roadway and assisted those involved. One person sustained critical injuries and later died. Two additional people received treatment and were taken to a hospital in stable condition.
