Why Motorcycle Crashes on Highways Can Be Especially Dangerous
Motorcyclists traveling on highways are exposed to higher speeds and heavier traffic, increasing the risk of serious injury in a crash.
When a collision occurs, riders can be thrown from their motorcycles, often landing in active traffic lanes. This creates additional hazards for both the rider and other drivers.
Staying visible, maintaining safe speeds, and remaining alert to surrounding traffic can help reduce the likelihood of highway motorcycle accidents.
