What Risks Are Associated with Ejection During Vehicle Crashes?
Being ejected from a vehicle significantly increases the risk of fatal injuries in a crash. Occupants who are not properly restrained are more likely to be thrown from the vehicle during impact.
Seat belts are one of the most effective safety measures to reduce the risk of ejection. They help keep occupants secured inside the vehicle during a collision.
High-speed impacts and rollover crashes can further increase the likelihood of ejection, making proper restraint use critical for safety.
