Branson, MO (August 31, 2026) – A passenger was injured Saturday afternoon when a Ford Edge rear-ended a Subaru Outback on US-65 about a mile north of Bull Creek, according to a state crash report. Both vehicles were slowing for traffic ahead when the Edge struck the Outback, sending it spinning into a rock bluff.
The Outback’s driver, a 60-year-old Benton, Arkansas man, was uninjured, while a 62-year-old female passenger from Benton suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Cox Branson. The Edge’s driver, a 57-year-old Branson man, was not hurt.
The Outback sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene. We hope the passenger has a full recovery.
