How School Zone Crashes Can Affect Pedestrian Safety
Roads near Kedron Drive often serve both school traffic and nearby neighborhoods, which can increase activity during morning and afternoon hours. When an injury accident occurs in Peachtree City, responders typically focus on securing the area while assisting those involved.
School zones are designed to protect students and staff, but they still require careful attention from drivers. Reduced speed limits, crosswalks, and crossing guards help guide pedestrians, yet visibility and timing can still affect safety.
Pedestrian crashes in these areas often involve moments when vehicles fail to slow down or notice someone crossing. Factors such as traffic flow, driver awareness, and road layout can all influence how safely vehicles and pedestrians share space near schools.
