What Factors Are Reviewed After Pedestrian Crashes?
Pedestrian crashes can result in serious injuries because people outside vehicles have limited protection during an impact. Roadway design, visibility, traffic conditions, and vehicle speed can all affect the outcome of these collisions.
Reviews of pedestrian crashes may consider the location of the impact, vehicle movement, roadway conditions, and information from witnesses. Details from the scene can help provide a clearer picture of what happened before and during a collision.
