Brownsville, TX (September 2, 2026) – A pedestrian was hospitalized on Monday morning after being struck by a Honda Accord while crossing Medford Rd. The collision happened around 6:20 a.m. near the intersection with State Hwy 4.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the male pedestrian was crossing Medford Rd from south to north when the Honda struck him. The driver remained at the scene and called 911 after the collision.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. His identity and the severity of his injuries were not released. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
