North Mankato, MN (June 4, 2026) – A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while using a marked crosswalk near Highway 169 and Webster Avenue in North Mankato on June 3. Emergency units arrived and found the person bleeding from the back of her head after the crash.
The vehicle was traveling at approximately 30 mph when it hit the woman. The 43-year-old female was taken to MCHS Mankato. Medical staff reported that she had a head injury and was experiencing nausea and vomiting.
Traffic control assistance was requested for the roadway while crews worked in the area. No additional information about the driver was released.
Investigators are continuing to gather information to determine the factors that led to what happened. We hope the woman makes a full and speedy recovery.
