Sacramento, CA (August 2, 2026) – A pedestrian was hurt after being struck by a vehicle near the Butterfield Light Rail Station along Folsom Boulevard in Sacramento on July 31.
According to CHP reports, the call came in shortly before 12:53 p.m. and involved a vehicle and a pedestrian. During the emergency call, a reporting party stated the pedestrian was experiencing a seizure and that someone was attempting to break a window to assist them before emergency units arrived. The roadway was later reopened, and a tow truck was requested.
The identity of the pedestrian and the driver has not been released. Additional information about the accident has not been disclosed.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation as more information becomes available.
