Indianapolis, IN (July 18, 2026) – A pedestrian lost their life after being struck by a vehicle early at the intersection of West 38th Street and Michigan Road on Indianapolis’ near north side.
Deputies arrived at the scene at about 6:02 a.m. on Friday, July 17, after receiving reports of a crash with injuries. When emergency crews arrived, they found the pedestrian with serious injuries. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, but later died.
