Cameron Park, CA (July 9, 2026) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Wednesday near Cameron Park Dr and Oxford Rd in Cameron Park, California. The collision happened when a black Kia traveling north on Cameron Park Dr moved onto the shoulder and hit a pedestrian traveling in the same direction.
The pedestrian was thrown into a drainage ditch and taken to a hospital with major injuries, where the person later died. The pedestrian was only identified as an adult, and no name was released.
