Clarksville, TN (August 22, 2026) – A pedestrian died on Thursday night after being struck by a vehicle while crossing 101st Airborne Division Parkway on a bicycle.
The accident happened around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection with Whitfield Road. The person was walking the bicycle across the roadway when a vehicle hit them.
The pedestrian was taken to Vanderbilt Clarksville Hospital, where the person was pronounced dead. The initial report did not release the person’s identity. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
