Page County, IA (July 14, 2026) – A pedestrian died after being struck by an SUV on D Ave north of Essex in Page County on Saturday night.
The collision was reported shortly before 10:00 p.m. about 2,300 feet south of 130th St. According to the Iowa State Patrol, a 2014 Toyota Venza driven by Elyzabeth Henry was traveling south when it struck a person who was walking near or on the roadway.
The pedestrian was identified as Roselyn Robbin Stark, who died from the injuries received in the accident. No additional information about the circumstances leading to the wreck was immediately released. The investigation into the collision is continuing as more facts are gathered.
