Richland, SC (July 14, 2026) – A pedestrian was killed early on Sunday after a Hyundai Elantra struck the person on Dodamead Street at Weston Street in the Eastover community of Richland County. The wreck happened at approximately 12:27 a.m. on July 12.
A 2017 Hyundai Elantra was traveling north on Dodamead St when it struck a pedestrian who was lying in the roadway, according to the initial report. The Hyundai driver was not hurt, while the pedestrian died at the scene.
