Los Angeles, CA (June 29, 2026) – A pedestrian was killed in a fatal traffic incident early on Saturday, June 27, along the southbound lanes of I-110 near the West 8th Street off-ramp in Los Angeles.
Initial reports indicated the person was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of West 8th Street and Garland Avenue. Emergency units closed the southbound 9th Street and 8th Street off-ramps while crews worked on the roadway. A SigAlert remained in effect for several hours before all lanes were reopened later that morning.
