Glendale, AZ (July 8, 2026) – A pedestrian was seriously hurt after being struck by a vehicle early on Monday near the intersection of 71st Ave and Grand Ave in Glendale.
The collision was reported shortly before 2:30 a.m. Investigators believe the man was outside a marked crosswalk when the vehicle hit him. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Grand Ave remained closed for several hours while emergency units worked along the roadway and investigators gathered evidence. The roadway was fully reopened shortly before 7:30 a.m.
