What Factors Are Typically Reviewed After a Pedestrian Accident?
Pedestrian accidents are typically examined by reviewing roadway conditions, lighting, traffic flow, and the actions of both the driver and the pedestrian before the collision. Investigators may also evaluate visibility, vehicle speed, and physical evidence found on the roadway. Witness statements and surveillance footage, when available, can provide additional information about the sequence of events.
In cases involving serious injuries, medical findings may help explain the extent of harm caused by the collision. Reviewing these details together helps create a clearer picture of how the roadway accident occurred and what factors may have contributed.
