Perry, GA (March 16, 2026) – One person died, and two others were hurt after a crash Saturday afternoon, March 14, at the intersection of Larry Walker Parkway and Marshallville Road in Perry.
Emergency units responded around 12:30 p.m. after reports of a serious collision involving a Nissan Versa and a Chevrolet pickup truck. Authorities said the Nissan was traveling southwest on Marshallville Road and approached the stop sign at the intersection.
Investigators reported that the driver of the Nissan failed to yield to the pickup truck, which was traveling west on Larry Walker Parkway. The two vehicles collided in the intersection.
All three people inside the Nissan Versa were taken by ambulance to Atrium Health Navicent in Macon for treatment. Officials later confirmed that the front passenger died from their injuries.
Authorities have not said whether anyone in the Chevrolet pickup truck was hurt in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation, and additional information may become available as authorities continue their review.
