Philadelphia, PA (January 20, 2026) – A 41-year-old man was transported to Einstein Emergency Room following a T-bone collision near Old York Rd on January 19. The crash resulted in trauma-related injuries, including pain in the left shoulder and neck, prompting a priority medical response.
Medic 56B handled the trauma transport and reported that the man remained conscious at the scene and throughout the transport. Although there was no loss of consciousness, the patient was noted to be on blood thinners, which raised concern for potential complications. Airbags deployed during the impact, and the man’s vital signs were described as stable.
The collision was classified as a motor vehicle crash with injury, and EMS crews estimated arrival at the hospital within six minutes of dispatch. Officials have not disclosed the exact location or the number of vehicles involved in the crash.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident and assess whether any citations will be issued.
