Philadelphia, PA (January 29, 2026) – Emergency medical crews responded to Buist Ave in Southwest Philadelphia on the evening of January 28 following reports of a crash potentially involving a 1-year-old child. Medic 19 was dispatched to the location shortly after 9:00 p.m. to assess injuries and provide care.
According to initial dispatch communication, the child may have been involved in what was referred to as a “large crash,” though no official details regarding the nature or severity of injuries have been released. Additional support was coordinated, and EMS crews were advised that there were no restrictions on emergency transport if needed.
Engine units also responded to the area to assist with scene management. No other patients or vehicles were confirmed in the initial transmission.
