Pedestrian Safety and Early Morning Visibility Risks
Crashes involving pedestrians are particularly severe, especially during early morning hours when visibility may be reduced and traffic patterns are changing. Drivers are urged to remain vigilant, slow down in residential and urban corridors, and watch carefully for pedestrians at intersections and crosswalks.
Pedestrians are also encouraged to use designated crossings whenever possible and remain alert to approaching vehicles, particularly during low-light conditions.
