Pittsburgh, PA (January 19, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision on January 18 near Shepherd and Boggs Ave at Carson Way prompted an emergency response after one of the drivers was trapped inside their vehicle.
The crash involved a white Toyota Tacoma and another white Toyota. Initial reports indicated that there were no injuries; however, a follow-up dispatch suggested that one occupant might have been unable to exit their vehicle, leading to EMS being dispatched to the scene.
Responders worked to assess the situation and determine whether rescue operations were necessary. Tow services were also requested due to the condition of the vehicles.
Authorities have not yet released further information about the cause of the accident or the status of those involved. The incident remains under review.
