Apartment Fires and Emergency Response
Large apartment fires can spread rapidly due to shared walls, attic spaces, and closely connected units. Heavy smoke and structural instability often create dangerous conditions for both residents and emergency responders.
Fire officials encourage residents to maintain working smoke alarms, know evacuation routes, and leave buildings immediately when a fire is detected. Quick evacuation and rapid response from fire crews can help reduce the risk of injuries during major residential fires.
Investigators continue working to determine the cause of the Plymouth Township apartment fire.
