Grand Prairie, TX (September 7, 2026) – At least seven people were hospitalized after a police pursuit ended in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 30 late on Saturday night, September 5.
The collision happened around 10:45 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 30 just before the President George Bush Turnpike. The pursuit involved a sedan and ended when the vehicles reached the interstate. At least four vehicles collided and came to rest along the grassy right shoulder of the freeway. Emergency medical crews took at least seven people to local hospitals.
Their injuries ranged from serious to non-life-threatening. Several lanes were closed following the crash, causing major traffic backups along Interstate 30 into the night. The circumstances that led to the initial pursuit and the identities of those involved have not been released.
