Pasadena, TX (June 23, 2026) – A Pasadena Police Department vehicle responding to a separate major crash was involved in a collision on Sunday afternoon near Beltway 8.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 2:59 p.m. on June 21 on southbound Red Bluff Rd approaching Beltway 8. Investigators said one police unit had already cleared the intersection while responding to an emergency when a second patrol vehicle was struck by a northbound civilian vehicle traveling in the third lane.
Officials reported that traffic in the area had been stopped at the time of the collision. The circumstances leading up to the impact remain under investigation.
Two occupants of the civilian vehicle were transported to a local hospital as a precaution after suffering minor injuries described as bumps and bruises. The officer involved in the crash was also evaluated while completing an injury report. Authorities stated that no major injuries were reported.
Emergency personnel remained at the scene Sunday afternoon as investigators reviewed the collision. Officials have not released information regarding potential citations, and the identities of those involved have not been made public.
